I already talked to Bigtyme thru PM's about a problem with not being able to delete, move, or use other Moderator options for posts..... But now I find that when I go to make a post I can not highlight, underline, make BOLD, ect., either... It simply says, "Your browser is not compatible with these extra feature buttons."... All this just started a few days ago... Is anyone else having these problems, or is it just my computer ?

MJ something must have happened on your end.The last couple of days when I get your emails and it's only yours doing it.I get a warning saying an error has occured on the script of this page. Then it asks if I want to continue with the script.I didn't think anything about it until I read this now and your problems..I wish I knew more so I could help you but unfortunately I don't.Hopefully someone can get this straightened out for you.

Hummmmmm..... Let me ask you something else, while we are talking about email... Does my email to you "over-fill" the page ? ..... It seems that the first time I receive an emal from you it is fine...but then, as we talk back and forth on that same email, they seem to "grow" in width, to where I have to slide that little deal back and forth to read them... I don't know if it is doing this with anyone else because I am not really having an "on-going" email correspondence with anyone else right now............. These computers are really nice...and they are often handy...but sometimes you just want to take that old Louisville Slugger, the one with the tape wrapped handle that you got when you played in the little league about 45 years ago, that you poured about 3 pounds of melted lead into that hole you drilled into the end of when you cut it down to about 2 feet long and attached that thong, just before you soaked it for a couple of weeks in that bucket of used motor oil setting outside the back door in the shade of that old piss-elm tree, the one with the missletoe up in the top, and wash it down right smart with some DAWN to cut the oil, wipe it clean and dry real good, bring it into the computer room, quitely shut the door, and.................................................... But that's just my personal opinion.

MJ I never paid attention until you brought this up. I checked the email we've been throwing back and forth.I see when it first started out there was plenty of space on the sides. As we have been sending it back and forth I see it has gotten wider then it was. It's still within the sides and I don't have to move it back and forth to read it.Apparently it's not a problem on my puter.

Well, being computer stupid like I am... I guess, as long as it works............... And as for the being able to use the Moderator options, delete, and etc., like I mentioned in my first post in this thread.... Everything is back and there right now, just like it is supposed to be.... I can see the Smilies again and everything while I am typeing this... And just to try it out, I deleted this post and then reposted it, and it all worked like it is supposed to............................ Sometimes I really do wish I was "computer-smart", instead of so extraordinarily handsome.

I wish I knew more about these gismo's myself. I have all the smiley faces. It must be something with your computer. Maybe someone can shead some light on this and get you up and running like normal.Is it just this site or are others doing the same? And for your comment Sometimes I really do wish I was "computer-smart", instead of so extraordinarily handsome. I can feel your pain  |

Well, at least for now, they are all back again, but they weren't there earlier this morning when I came in. (I think I need an asprin.)... And there is another forum this is happening at too...so I doubt it is this forum that is the problem... It is most likely my computer.... Guess one of these times I will have to take this thing in to a professional or something... My kids mess with computers, but like my son tells me... He never goes to forums, and doesn't know anything about them or the workings of them, so he would have no idea of what the problem could be, or even where to start looking.
