Dave (Renegade) Was truly a gentleman and a positive influence in our sport and way of life. Dave was my first first member and my first administrator to my forum. He was born 11-20-1970 his last day on this earth was 8-3-2005. Dave was a soil tester and was killed when a Motor grader backed over him . Dave left behind a son, a wife, a brother, and his parents. He also left behind alot of people who truly loved the man. He was a NRA member a concealed handguns instructer. He had a enthusiasm for our sport like no other, and didnt mind callin it like he seen it either. I cannot believe it has been over 4 years since he passed. It only seems like yesterday that i talked to him last on the phone or email. Dave you have been truly missed buddy.

Dave was one fine person and highly thought of by many people. He was a church going man and a family man.His family meant everything to him.
Dave and I became good friends even though we never met in person. Him and I talked about all different subjects besides guns and hunting. Many times he told me his job was dangerous and wanted to get into something else. Just before Dave was killed he mailed me a VHS tape that he recorded for me.I received it the same day he was killed. I didn't know anything about it. I sent a Thank You email and his wife informed me that he was killed earlier that day. Strangely enough I now live within a hour of where he lived. If he was still with us I know we would have been shooting and hunting buddies.
I could go on but you already know the type of person he was. His brother though I don't know him as well is a great guy. It must run in the Ryback Family. Dave I hope you're Resting in Peace ole Buddy

I too miss Dave a lot. He always gave me good info to use against him and Todd. I was shocked and saddened when I heard of his death. The man is missed by everyone that knew him, or knew of him.
Rest in peace, Dave. And watch over your son so he'll grow up to be the kind of man you were.

Thanks Todd I wondered how his son was doing. I know he went back to live with what Dave called the egg donor. She only lived about 45 minutes or so from me when I was living in Florida. I hear from Mike once in awhile. It's been awhile ago since the last time but I thought I would tell him about this Memorial. I heard from Jeannie a couple times but it's been a couple years ago. I'm sure he will appreciate it.
Thanks for the info.

Thank you all for you kind words. I to miss Dave everyday and often wish he was still a phone call away. It's kind of funny that you sent this to me this today Todd. Earlier today I was talking with a co-worker about CWP along with other things and was thinking about Dave and some of the comments he had made to me. Man I miss him and at the same time that feel sorry for anyone that never took the time to know this fine man that in a lot of ways was MY HERO.
Thanks again Todd you're awesome for doing this.
Thanks Mike

Mike , I'm glad you received the emails. I didn't know Todd had already sent one to you. I just wanted to let you know Dave hasn't or won't be forgotten.Believe me I can feel your pain even after 4 years.Todd said you spent some time with your nephew this past summer. I'm glad he's doing well. If you talk to Jeannie give her my best. I'm glad you stopped in. When you can stop in again. We have a great bunch and I think you would enjoy it. Drop me a email when you have time.

I had just met Dace not long before he passed. But in just that short time I can understand and I know what you all have said is true. He and I had shared several PM's and were in the process of setting up a concealed carry class here on Hatteras Island.
Thanks for the updates on his family and my prayers are still with them. Mike, please continue to be a part in Dave's sons life and help guide him along these early life paths.
Well Done BT!! ;D

I just happened to stumble on the picture of Dave that you have posted on the internet, when I clicked on the picture it led me to this website. I am Dave's wife Jeanie. This is a pleasant surprise. I remember that he was very active on this website and loved sharing with others who were as enthusiastic as he was about the sport. I am sure that he would be very pleased to be held in honor here. He is still missed very much.
