Live or artificial... Which do you usually reach for first ? ................ I generally preferred artificial baits when I was younger and getting around better... 'cause I liked walking around ponds, wadeing down creeks, tubeing back water fingers of lakes, ect... Now that I generally just set on the bank, I prefer live bait........ What about you ?

that pretty much depends on the situation the type of fish being persued and my mood.i like to throw the tackle box and the bass. i got six rods rigged to go .for panfish i like little jigs tipped with mealworms or grubs.for lake trout i like to troll live sawbellies.for carp and cats homemade dough/corn baits.ice fishing a combination of live and jigs.for stripers live blood/sand worms.cant wait for this cold snap to break so i can get out there.

Artificial. Can't see killing something to catch something I'll probably release anyway... 'Cept for crickets to catch big bream, which go for their first truck ride with me...

The best bait is live! No matter what your fishing for!

I use live, you use anything else out of the same boat and see what happens. But then I also EAT BASS!!
